Vendome was the venue for the much anticipated film premiere of the Carbon Black 2008 super car rally. With over 120 people on the guest list the night promised to be a huge success – and we weren’t disappointed.

Guests arrived from 8.30pm and Carbon Black had the club exclusively for the film premiere! 9pm the audience settled themselves down to re-live the 2008 Super car rally! An hour long jam packed DVD showing what an amazing time we all had along with some very funny sound bites from the drivers had everyone screaming and laughing out loud. With the DVD over it was down to business – Carbon Black had the whole of the VIP area exclusively and it was time for a full on re-union Carbon Black style!

As you will have noticed Carbon black has a new website, it was developed for us for greater search engine compatibility, unfortunately it wasn’t delivered until the start of the rally meaning some of the site wasn’t ready.  We are working on this and all the features of the site should soon be back up and running.

The wrap party for the 3rd Carbon Black supercar rally went of in Monaco with a bang last night, with a party like no other.  Here are a few pictures

Day 6: Final Drive and Wrap Party
Our last days drive as we head towards Monaco and our signature Wrap Party! Following an early start the drive will be approx 5.5 – 7 hours and is a fast drive taking in coast roads and amazing views of Corsica. On the descent into Monaco the roads will gently wind through the hills taking you over the finish line. As you all know some of the finer Monaco hotels can be fairly reserved so with this in mind we have chosen the Monte Carlo Bay hotel. Its ideal location and younger outlook on party people makes this the perfect end venue. We will be kicking the signature wrap party off early so don’t be late in. After dropping the cars off we will set sail on board our very own luxury super-yacht, with the drinks flowing and the party pumping we will watch the sun go down as we turn up the heat for the most extravagant party Carbon Black has ever staged!

Here is the route our drivers took to get from Bupapest to Venice

Day 1: The Start Party 2008
For this years Start Party we have exclusive use of one of England’s finest stately homes; Stapleford Park in Leicestershire. Set in rolling countryside and amidst English refinery you can enjoy a Champagne reception and traditional afternoon tea.  Please note that Driver registration is between 2pm and 4pm, where you can pick up your driver and co pilot packs, gifts, technical equipment, meet the Carbon Black team and be introduced to your support girls.

If you fancy sampling life as a country gent we have arranged for several outdoor country sports to be available. Activities include archery, clay shooting and off road driving.  Plus Stapleford has amazing spa facilities, swimming pool and gym.

In the evening you can expect our usual “raise the roof” Start Party, as always a big night!!– We only stop when you stop!

Day 2:  Chilled Night in Prague
You will be flown by private jet to the historic Czech Republic where you will have an emotional reunion with your car.  The flag goes down and you will begin the drive into Prague.  In the evening we have arranged for a sumptuous dinner in the luxury of the hotel – a chance for you to chill, re-charge, or venture out to see what mischief you can find in Prague! (we have a few ideas up our sleeve if you are unfamiliar with Prague).

Day 3: Carbon Black and Cocktails
Approx 4 – 5 hour drive taking you through some amazing scenery towards Budapest, predominately along fast dual carriageways crossing through 3 countries and 2 borders. Arriving at the hotel with time for a quick change and then we hit the newest and hippest fusion restaurant in Budapest to show them what a real party looks like!

Day 4: Chilled Venetian Night
Approx 6 – 8 hours on the road, a beautiful drive - heading towards Venice, passing stunning scenery through Croatia. The roads will be fast, only broken by a check point and the occasional single carriage way. Tonight we will stay in the newest and most impressive hotel in Venice, where we have arranged exclusive use of the popular skyline bar on the rooftop where you can take your pre-dinner drinks whilst watching the sun set – you may even want to take a dip in the rooftop pool if the mood takes! A relaxed evening awaits on the mainland, in one of the best restaurants – great food, great wine and great company……

Day 5: Carbon Black Party
Approx 5 – 7 hours drive taking the coastal road towards Rome, with some great driving traversing from motorway back to the coast until we hit our truly unique lunch stop – an amazing monastery dating back to the sixth century. Following lunch its back on route for the intricate drive along the old road into Rome.
A warm Italian welcome and cold Peroni awaits you as you hit the “Eternal City”.
Enjoy a drink and take in the Capital before you are chauffeured to the hottest nightspot in town, where a sumptuous dinner will be served by one of Rome’s most famous Chefs. Support girls, live musicians and DJ in tact we hit the Prive!……Get ready to rock Carbon Black style!
